Life is becoming chaotic day by day, people are getting kidnapped like chickens, bandits are invading towns and villages without any fear of the government. The rate at which people are killed and kidnapped is getting scarier everyday and the government is not saying anything or even taking actions to curb these criminal activities. Military personnel are killed like dogs, bandits are live streaming  on tiktok like a celebrity in a country where we have cyber cells to track down these people within seconds.

It is crystal clear that the government does not care about the lives of the citizens. They are self-centered to the core, instead of protecting the lives of citizens they are fighting to secure seats for the 2027 election. Are we not ruled by GOAT? A country where a military general is talking about signing a peace treaty with bandits and sending them to rehab for them to change. Bandits are walking freely like hen without any fear. Are we even safe, even safe at all?

Travelers are being kidnapped day by day; some are even killed without mercy. We face economic restraints, security issues, corruption and even embezzlement of funds by elected officials. There is a question that is not yet answered which is ‘WHO IS FUNDING TERRORISM IN NIGERIA?’.  The Nigerian military is capable of wiping off all these bandits at once but they are refusing to do the needful. When they are ordered to stop protesters during any protest , they come out with full force but they keep quiet when there is a case of bandits.

Truly, Nigeria is a country of particular concern; there is no doubt at all. Every day, people call out the government to do something. Media outlets use different techniques to bring these acts to government notice but they are turning deaf ears to our cries like we are not important in the country. They have not taken any step to curb these criminal acts even after Trump has tried to intervene in the matter. Do we even have any government; we the citizens are like radio to the government that will keep talking from morning till night without any response.

A governor uses a whole military battalion as escort with heavy artilleries but there is no protection for the citizen, the value 1 life than 1000 of them; they send their children and wives to other countries for safety but leave the citizens to be kidnapped and killed like hen and goats, what should we call this act?. Our lives as the citizens of the country are not valued anymore. It is only important to them during elections  to boost their votes into their desired office.

The 35 girls kidnapped in kebbi and the killing of 25 members of a church in kwara in just 2 days shows how we are no longer safe in the country. We have not recovered  from an incident, another  one has occurred and there is nothing being done about it. Something about us Nigerian and the rulers is that we talk way too much. WE TALK, TALK, TALK, 

TALK and TALK without doing anything. I just hope something is done ASAP to end all this or else we will have an entity ruling Nigeria; The government and the bandits.
