Did we go to church today? I did. Today is an exceptionally beautiful Sunday, like every other one.

I went to church and attended mass, below 👇 are the readings for today:

1. First reading: Isiah 50:5-9
2. Second reading: James 2:14-18
3. Gospel reading: Mark 8:27-35

I actually took responsorial Psalm today, and it was beautiful. The readings of today are talking about taking up our crosses to follow Christ. Christianity is not an easy religion, not just Christianity, but life generally, everyday comes with it's own struggles and challenges, and that's why we ought to balance our faith with works. You cannot say you love God, and not give out to the hungry and naked around you.

And also, in the gospel reading, Jesus asked the disciples who people say he is, and also, during sermon, the priest took his time to ask few members who Jesus is to them, some said that he is their savior, their redeemer, a wonder working God, and a miracle working God, a lot of people have different perception of who God is to them. To Peter, he is "the Christ."

Imagine me telling you to follow me, and I'm telling you that'll be tortured and killed, that's absurd, but that was the case with Jesus and his disciples.
