When I realized that today is National Sudoku Day, I was so happy because it's one of my favourite games and I just thought to share a little story about how I started playing it.
The very first time I played was with my grandfather. Honestly, I didn’t understand it at all. All those numbers in boxes looked confusing. But as I kept looking at it, I noticed there was some kind of consistency. I told myself, “I must learn this Sudoku and if my Grand Dad could play it, why couldn't I.”
So I started trying. At first, it was tough, but slowly I began to see the patterns. I didn’t even know there were actual strategies people used to play. I just figured out my own way of doing it. With time, I got better, and before I knew it, I was hooked.
Now, Sudoku is one of my favorite games. I love the challenge, the logic, and the little victories when the whole puzzle finally comes together.
So, happy International Sudoku Day to everyone out there. If you’ve never tried Sudoku before, maybe today’s the best day to start. You just might end up loving it too!
