IDEOLOGY OF SCHOOL NA SCAM PART 4 - 3 months ago

Society's disregard for education adds to the agony. College grads resort to riding bikes, tricycles, and other vehicles. The government's insensitivity forces young graduates to fight just to survive.

Education has no value or concern in our society. Money, regardless of its source, is highly respected.

Titles, positions, and undeserved recognition are highly valued as long as money is involved. Future generations will continue to view education as a scam if nothing changes.

• No Guarantee

Nigerian universities honor their top students, giving the impression that jobs will come easily. But reality bites after school. Is attending an official institution required for success?

Graduates may feel belittled, especially if classmates who didn't attend college are already buying the latest cars. They see themselves wasting time in school and gaining nothing from it.

New trends like home tutoring, professional training, internships, YouTube learning, e-learning, and book reading show that there are other learning options outside of schools.

• Possible Solution

So, is education a scam? Not really. To shift graduates' and students' mindsets, numerous issues must be resolved.

What can be done to stop this threat? Should education be changed or abandoned? When a system isn't functioning, the best course of action is to reconstruct it, not create a new one.

The original system's failure was likely caused by an unidentified issue.

To see real change, improving education requires a completely different approach, one outside the government's purview.

Redesigning the curriculum for all educational levels, from primary to university, is the first step.
