Skin glowing, a smile she always wore.

 The African woman, the strongest of them all.

 She hid her tears cleverly.

 No escaping the peace she brought with her.

 An ever brilliant figure, a goddess, a mother and a sister. 
She always cared for those around her. 

She never let the cold hurt them.

She is success personified, an industrialist, she rose before the sun and slept when the moon was at its peak.

 A role model to a continent and a model to many families.

 Behind her smile, we never saw what she had lost.

 The scars on her back, they tell a story, a story of persistence and of self sacrifice. 

Oh beautiful black queen, we can't say thank you enough.
