Day 0038 of 1000 Days.
The Secret Source of My Father's Wealth.
Part 2.
I was in the hospital that Tuesday morning. The wealthy man was still lying down on the hospital bed- eyes closed, no finger or leg movement, just a subtle, silent breathing.
This was the third day that I have been praying that God should resuscitate this man. Since I have no job, my new job now was to be with this wealthy man, praying for him.
My dad had joked that I loved him so much despite not knowing him. I replied that if it should be a family member, I would do more.
On the day the wealthy man woke up, it was one of our best days. At first, he kept on asking where he was. After a detailed explanation and introduction, he became calm.
'My name is Kunle. My car broke down that evening when I was going for a party', he explained.
When we got back home, my mum and Jago were so excited to see us.
'Is this your dog?' Mr Kunle asked, bending down to touch Jago. Jago barked and Mr Kunle stepped back.
I laughed but revealed that Jago can be really friendly but aggressive at first, especially to strangers. Mr Kunle said he understood perfectly well.
That evening, our food was different . Mr Kunle sponsored everything. It was a night that the Williams, not excluding Jago, would never forget.
