RESHARE FEATURE ON WHATSAPP 

Recently, WHATSAPP has been updating the app which made some users enjoy the app more than before. From adding music for users to add to their pictures, mentioning of friends on WhatsApp posts, tagging of groups, resharing of WhatsApp status with just a click and even forwarding other people's status to yourself.

This innovation has not only made the app easier to use but also allows for easy and efficient transmission of information. People have made use of this feature to share information with just a click. Information can be shared across millions of users within just a minute. 

We need to understand that these features might have a positive impact on how we disseminate information easily but also it has increased the rate at which we share information that is not verified or even misleading. 

Using the case of the In-drive cab driver and Nevermore( a user on x), the user made allegations against the cab driver over gang robbery. The information spread like wide fire, people RESHARED a thousand times until the driver made a viral video of proving himself not guilty. Which later made the police intervene. 

We need to be cautious of the way we use the advanced technology, this should not only help our visibility and effective spread of information but also verify news or information before sharing.
