*The Darkness That Brought Light - 3 months ago

It was a day like no other in Jerusalem. The sky grew dark, as if night had fallen at midday. The air was heavy with an eerie silence. On a hill called Golgotha, a figure hung on a cross, pierced and bleeding.

Jesus, the Son of God, had been sentenced to death for claiming to be the Messiah. As He hung there, the weight of humanity's sins bore down on Him. Every cruelty, every injustice, every heartache – He took it all upon Himself.

In those final moments, Jesus cried out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" The heavens seemed to shudder at the separation between the Father and the Son.

And then, with a voice that echoed through eternity, Jesus declared, "It is finished."

With those words, the temple veil tore in two, symbolizing the bridge between God and humanity. The earth shook, and the darkness lifted. The redemption of humanity had begun.

Jesus' death was not just an execution; it was a sacrifice. He took the punishment for our sins, freeing us from the grip of death and darkness. His blood washed away our guilt, restoring our relationship with God.

As He breathed His last, Jesus spoke life into the hearts of all who would believe. The cross, once an instrument of death, became a beacon of hope.

In the darkness of that day, light broke through. Redemption was born. Forgiveness was offered. And humanity was forever changed.

*John 3:16* - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
