"WORLD DESERTIFICATION DAY"

So I was opportune to participate in the "World Desertification Day" Campaign, held by 200lv Development and Strategic Communication Students, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, University of Abuja.

It was a great experience I had walking hand in hand with my course mates and Course lecture: Dr. Jamila, in combating Desertification and Planting Trees in the Faculty Environment.

It was my first time I could see a hint of success in a campaign like "World Desertification Day", where Collaborations, engagement and Shared actions was exhibited, and this was not done only through our efforts but also through Dr. Jamila's guidance and encouragement.

I also played a role in digging the soil for the planting of Trees, it was a wonderful experience.

Faculty of Communication and Media Studies is not just a learning environment but also a place where students are being prepared and encouraged to pursue their dreams/professions
