Today, I thought of you but couldn’t reach you.
I scrolled rapidly searching through my phone
but technology couldn’t save us this time.
Jonathan Sacks said,
“Thanks to technology we can instantly communicate across the world,”
?but why can’t I reach you?
Or maybe I’m the one in denial, constantly lying to my self because with technology you can communicate across the world,
but not across your world.
So to the messages I can’t send anymore,
to the calls I can’t make with you anymore,
I’d keep in touch by carrying
you always in my heart till I get to your world.
