Say your mind,
Don’t hold it in.
Yet when I speak,
People take offense.
Say your mind,
It gives you peace.
Yet i find no peace within,
All I see is war in my head.
Say your mind,
It doesn’t cost you anything.
Yet i loose a whole lot,
Because people misunderstand me.
Say your mind,
For the truth is bitter to hear.
Yet I prefer the sweet taste of lies,
Because who wants to take bitter leaf?
