Manchester City and Manchester United are set to clash in the first major fixture of the 2024/25 season, facing off at Wembley Stadium in the FA Community Shield on Saturday.

This matchup is a rematch of their FA Cup final in May, where Manchester United, led by Erik ten Hag, pulled off a surprising victory against City.

As United won the cup, they qualified for the Community Shield. As Man City won the Premier League, they also qualified and therefore will once again go head to head with their local rivals.

The Sporting News takes a look at how the two sides could line up.
