UNILAG Exam Diaries — Day 6: JIL 111
Hi loves,
So, I had an exam last Friday, but I completely forgot to write about it.
The paper was JIL 111.
Honestly, that day was a bit of a blur. I was already very tired from the previous exams, so everything just felt like I was moving on autopilot. But regardless, I still showed up and did what I had to do.
The exam itself was okay, not too overwhelming, but there was a moment that really got me.
We were told not to write anything on the question paper, but I didn’t hear that properly. Out of habit because it’s the first thing I always do so I don’t forget ,I wrote my matric number on it.
When I realized, I quickly alerted one of the invigilators, but his response was, “that’s your business, I’m not collecting that from you.” That instantly sent me into panic mode.
After a while, the lecturer for the course came around, and I finally spoke up — something I actually had to struggle with before doing. Thankfully, he calmed me down, guided me on what to do, and eventually collected it from me.
That moment alone felt like a whole exam on its own.
Aside from that, I’m just hoping for the best and trusting that everything works out in my favour.
I guess this is what exam season really feels like , showing up even when you’re tired, pushing through even when your body wants to rest.
I didn’t get the chance to write this earlier, but I’m glad I’m able to put it down now.
Let’s see what the next paper brings.
See you in the next Exam Diary. 🤍
