On a journey to find my lost self, I pleaded with time to stand still.
Not for my sake, but ours.
Forced to part ways, culture and tradition made a god over us.
Now we live as slaves to our thought.
Murdered by our conscience everyday but the truth lying bare...unseen.
On a journey to make things right, only if time could show a little mercy and grant us just this chance.
“We didn't mean for it to happen that way” is a cry over spilt milk.
Given another opportunity? Fix it else another regret sets in.
Make peace amidst war, even the war in your head for there is it's origin.
On a journey to question my past, I pray time helps me understand.
Human explanation has made me more miserable for every reasons given makes me want to wish I had not started this journey.
Experience they say is the best teacher, but what good is a teacher whose teaching only add to your dumbness and woe.
At my destination, everything has been made clear. My soul has found itself back to me. I'm glad I went on this journey. "I never got tired of waiting for you, I know as one can't do without its soul, you couldn't live without me" she said. At that moment I knew my prayers were heard, TIME STOOD STILL FOR ME.
