Some dark as coal
Some pure as light 
Some we regret 
Some we cherish 
Some hurt us 
So, make us better 
Some build us

In every action, the options we consider 
For every decision, we try to get better 
You might seek perfection, for me I’ll try that later 
A happy life is all I seek; I seek decisions to make me happier
But?!...
A single decision 
One wrong move 
Sadness forever, thereafter.

Life is a game of chess 
A game that we just can’t win 
A game that reduces your queen to the pawn 
Rendering you powerless.
A game that makes you think about your thoughts
Insanely, you feel thoughtless.
A game that destabilizes your stable sanity
Insanely unstable, you are considered an insane lunatic
The only cheat code in life is truth 
And truth about life is that life has no cheat code
If the truth sets us free, why do we choose to lie
If life is what we seek, why do we choose to die
Alas!!
It is only the work of our emotions 
Emotions? Or is it fear that I perceive
Fear of what? The abysmal anonymous unknown

Our fears listen and speak to us 
Words of fear,
They turn to music in our ears
We dance to them 
We memorize the tunes
And when it’s time to make a rock-solid decision
These songs of fear begin to play in an infinite loop
We stand strong for a while
Then we crumble 
Crashing and shattering to pieces 
Just like Clay 
A rock was requested
But shattered glass was received

Fear and Choices go hand in hand 
Bravery and cowardice are antonyms to each other 
The irony of fear is the sardonicism of bravery
To be brave you have to be scared 
To make the right choice you have to be wrong
You can never succeed to fail
But you can fail to succeed 
What if I chose to fail and I succeeded?

Life is all about choice!
Change is a constant - they lied 
Choice is a constant 
With choice comes change
Decisions depend not on change 
But change depends solely on choice 
These Choices or Decisions that we make with every breath we take.

It’s astonishing that life is simply a game of chess
And all we’ve done is play like rookies 
The world was a beautiful place to live 
But we all sought change
And we indeed changed the world
Change which is quite synonymous to destruction
Or were the changes governed by fear???!

Truthfully,
No one really seeks a perfect world 
All we seek is a happy and peaceful one 
A world where we could play with our kids with smiles on our faces
A world which is similar to Heaven
Only “WE” indeed can make our houses, Homes
If life truly was a game of chess 
It’s time to choose our moves wisely 
Yes! Sacrifices would be made 
But…
All is done for the greater good 
Life…Chess??
