Beauty and the Beast

Back in the days when we fantasized ourselves in the world of storybooks. A world we all imagine we lived in. We all read a popular story about a girl; beautiful in body, mind and soul. A perfect creature, as the writers of the story made us believe. On the contrary, we were also made to see a beast, ugly in both body, mind and common manners. Even though the end brought about true love we loathed the arrogant beast and loved the beautiful beauty.

But these could only apply in Disneyland, not in the world we live in. People always stress and confuse themselves seeking the purest of all kinds, the best of all humans to make friends, and in the end, they end up depressed. For they're yet to comprehend the world they live in.

Dear reader, there's no beauty, there's no beast. In the heart of every beast lies an atom of beauty and deep in the heart of the beauty is a sleeping beast. We must understand that everyone living is multifaceted. No one is beyond compromising. We're good when it suits us and evil when we deem it fit.

For that, find a friend or a lover you can love his or her beauty and ugliness. For there's no perfect human. Wake up from Disneyland! You're an adult not a child whose eyes are glued to a storybook or television. You must understand your world if you're to survive in it. Find your beauty and the beast  and make them your willing tool.
