“I don’t like that face,” I said walking past him but he held my wrist stopping me.
“You are guilty of betrayal.” He teased me but I didn’t look him in the eye. It was enough that Barth was making me feel uncomfortable, having him tease me was not acceptable.
“I don’t owe you any explanation, you have a girlfriend” I said hoping to shut him up.
“Oh, is this what all of this is about?” he inquired and I sighed.
“Theo not today please.” I begged him with my hands together.
“Are you jealous?” he asked me, wearing a serious face. I had to turn back to take a quick glance at Barth, hoping he was not having the wrong impression.
“What? Why would I be? I like Angelina.” I blurted and he chuckled. I shot him a glare.
“I’m sorry,” he apologized but I didn’t loosen my face. “I just want to know,”
“I am not saying a thing to you, let it be.” I said firmly.
“I am your boss,” he reminded me.
“That’s one more reason why you should mind your business,” I suggested but he frowned a little.
“I am curious, don’t leave me out of your love story.” He pleaded and I opened my mouth in shock.
“There’s no love story anywhere. Please excuse us,” I said to Barth who was watching us with keen interest.
“I’ll hear your side of the story tomorrow.” Theo winked at Barth before following me quickly.
