Nobody prepares you for the season when nothing seems to be happening.
You have prayed. You have worked. You have applied. You have tried again and again. Yet, somehow, the doors still seem closed.
You watch people around you move forward. Someone gets a new job. Someone gets married. Someone travels abroad. Someone starts a successful business. And suddenly, you begin to wonder, “What about me?”
But perhaps the waiting season is not a punishment.
Perhaps it is preparation.
Sometimes, life needs to slow down so you can grow into the person who can handle what you have been asking for. The waiting teaches patience. It builds resilience. It reveals who you are when there is no applause and no immediate reward.
So, if you are in a waiting season right now, don't assume you have been forgotten.
Keep learning. Keep praying. Keep showing up. Keep becoming.
Your life is not standing still just because you cannot see the progress.
One day, you may look back and realise that the season you thought was delaying you was actually preparing you.
And when your time finally comes, you will understand why you had to wait.
