The Thoughts I Could No Longer Keep To Myself - 6 hours ago

Sometimes people ask me, "You can write, so why are you not writing?" To be honest, I don't write because every word I type on my phone is just an episode of me. Even when I try not to write about myself, it doesn't make sense to me.
As a young girl, every time I put down words, I think of everything that exists within me. Today, many people will probably ask, "Why are you not writing this in a diary?" But what is the use of a diary when one day I will no longer be here? I would rather leave my words where they can be found. If you have the time in the world to condemn me, then that is your business for the day. My words are not written to seek approval; they are written because they are real.
Why is the world full of deception, anger, and hatred? Every time I look at people, I believe they are nice, good, and human like me. But every time I get a sharp pain from someone who chooses to hurt me, I begin to wonder if I am the only one trying to see the good in people. Yet, a moment later, I forget that I have been hurt and I look at everyone with good eyes again. Oh, innocent me.
Every day I scroll online, I see every gender being painted as evil.
The men say, "Women are not to be trusted. They will deceive you and move on like they never did anything."
Then I ask myself, are women not also suffering in the hands of men?
I didn't feel your pain because you didn't feel my pain. I leave that for you to digest.
This is not the definition of what God meant when He said we need a helper. You can argue with me, but while I was in my closet, these words came to me like I was standing in a fire.
Adam and Eve are the perfect definition of what I believe love should look like—not because they were perfect, but because even after they fell, they still faced life together. That reminds me that relationships are not built on perfection but on commitment, forgiveness, and taking responsibility.
But when I look at this Gen Z generation, I see that pride and ego are enough to make people end everything. We are quick to walk away and slow to understand each other.
My words are not feminism, and they are not against men. I speak as a person who regrets that her heart is made of gold, because sometimes kindness seems to attract pain instead of peace. But what will be the reward for a heart that keeps choosing good after being hurt?
I leave you with one thought: before you choose to do evil to someone, remember that they, too, carry a heart that feels pain. Reconsider choosing evil, because kindness will always leave a better legacy than hatred.
