My Unforgettable Fresher Year Experience
As I reflect on my journey as a fresher at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, I am reminded of the perseverance and determination that defined my path to university. My name is Odinaka Anita Oyedikachi, and I am a Mass Communication student. In this essay, I will share my story of taking the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam twice and the lessons I learned along the way.

 A First Attempt
During my final year in secondary school, I decided to take the JAMB exam, hoping to gain admission into university immediately after graduation. However, my results were not as expected, and I did not score high enough to secure admission into my desired institution. I was disappointed but not discouraged.

A Second Chance
After a year of waiting and self-reflection, I decided to take the JAMB exam again. This time, I was better prepared and more determined than ever. I enrolled in a JAMB preparatory program, studied diligently, and sought guidance from my mentors. When the exam results were released, I was overjoyed to discover that I had scored high enough to secure admission into the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

But in some point my school list delayed and I was worried I wouldn’t get into the institution, i loosed hope totally but could not give up,I reapplied for another jamb knowing fully well I had enough mark in the second jamb but I had to apply again ,two day to when am supposed to write the third jamb my list came out and I found my name I was so happy I got admitted ,I had to forfeit the third jamb I applied to make preparations for my upcoming new chapter.

Lessons Learned
My experience of taking the JAMB exam twice taught me valuable lessons about perseverance, resilience, and self-improvement. I learned that setbacks are a natural part of life and that it's how we respond to them that matters. I also discovered the importance of seeking help, guidance, and support from others.

A New Chapter
As I began my journey as a fresher at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that my hard work and determination had paid off. I was eager to start a new chapter of my life, to learn, grow, and make new friends.

In Conclusion:
My experience of taking the JAMB exam twice was a transformative journey that taught me the value of perseverance and determination. I am grateful for the lessons I learned along the way and for the opportunity to start anew at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. As I look to the future, I am excited to see what other challenges and opportunities await me.
