If hustling works for you don't discourage those studying and if studying works for you don't discourage those hustling. Street is smart and book is smart. The above writeup have raised alot of worries to me, and have somehow cleared some worries and misconceptions that i bore ever since. When i started my university education in the almighty university of Nigeria Nsukka UNN. My friends in the village were so proud of me, everybody congratulated me and wished they were in my shoes. I have not received that kind of congratulations and admiration from friends and loved ones ever since. This got me wondering, why the whole praise? Am not the first to enter the university in my village neither will i be the last. Perhaps is because of how i interact with them and how i carry myself. After completing my secondary education, people doubted my chances of going to university. They expected me to acquire a skill instead. In my village, It is a common thing for students to learn a lucrative skill before going to university.Alot of people think that with the way i work and make money, that i will never think of going to school regarding how unimportant my village people take educational certificate as. In my village majority of people that are considered rich or wealthy are not proud to say that it is education that made them whom they are. Infact most of them are not even educated. So this perception made some parents and youths to devalue education; they just have to manage and conclude their secondary school then face their all in learning hand skill, which they would eventually continue with throughout their lifetime.Worries of taking the wrong path by going to school filled me, i was so down in thought. I wished i had never started schooling. I wished i had stayed back and learn some hand skill to some perfect extent and make some huge money before going to school. Now that money had been my major problem in school, how will i cope? When everything is going high and cost of things are skyrocketing massively. How will somebody ever cope with this Nigeria economic challenges. Then in a second thought i will start to encourage myself, since i have this flaw for education, till when do i think i could start my schooling if not now, considering how difficult things are. Thanks to God that i can still call somebody and will receive a positive reply.Yes is true that many people keep excelling without any educational certificate, but it doesn't mean that eduaction doesn't pay. Every field pays but it depends on how you manage yourself, time and resources. It is also true that alot of people join hand jobs but are not making most from it, they just manage to feed for the day and save some for children school fees and other emergency like health care etc. They are also others who went to school without getting anything from it. Then what is the essence of going to school.I don't have much to say but i would leave us with this that no matter what one is doing it is never small, and you can always get the most out from it. God blesses man in different dimension. You might have finished school but will not become successful with your certificate. You may also be a skillful hand worker but your youngest brother who went to tertiary institution would be the one feeding you.As a student don't feel inferior or discouraged that your mates in the village are making it while you are there studying and wasting your time. Success is diverse, from one of my writeup it points that success could mean different things; In life it means wining, when the tide has given a gap to grow. In work it means achievement When the strength of an individual matters. In school it called success Oh yes, the goal of a determined student In marriage it is called happiness When the couple lives in peace and harmony.Yes is true success is diverse because When the trials of life emerges with fight to dissuade, our persistence counts o
