I have always loved words.
Not just the kind that make up stories, but the kind that somehow manage to say exactly what you have been trying to feel but could never quite explain.
Maybe that is why I became a writer.
Or maybe I became a writer long before I knew what to call myself.
For years, I have written in different places, on different platforms, in notebooks, in documents filled with unfinished ideas, and sometimes in my head at the most inconvenient times.
But I have always wanted a space where I could simply write.
No pressure to make everything fit into a trend. No need to squeeze a thought into a caption. No need to wonder whether an algorithm will decide that what I wrote deserves to be seen.
Just words.
So, welcome to my little corner of the internet.
This is where I want to talk about writing, books, stories, creativity, ambition, failure, the strange process of becoming, and everything else that finds its way into the mind of a writer.
Sometimes I might write about my novels.
Sometimes I might share something I have learned.
Sometimes I might simply sit down and write about something that has been on my mind.
I want this to feel less like a newsletter and more like opening a letter from a friend who happens to spend far too much time thinking about fictional characters.
I am still figuring things out.
I am still learning how publishing works. I am still learning what kind of writer I want to become. I am still writing stories that scare me because they are bigger than anything I have attempted before.
And perhaps that is the best place to begin.
Not at the finish line.
At the beginning.
So if you are reading this, thank you for being here.
I hope you stay for the stories.
I hope you stay for the messy drafts, the little victories, the lessons, the disappointments, the ridiculous writing moments and everything in between.
Most importantly, I hope you find something here that makes you feel understood.
Welcome.
I'm really glad you're here.
