Death row Head Guard, Paul Edgecomb has walked many inmates to the electric chair at Louisiana State Prison but never has he met anyone like John Coffey, a massive Black man accused of child murder and rape.

3 hours of sheer sadness. If this movie doesn’t evoke some powerful emotions in you, just admit yourself into an asylum for the criminally minded.
Definitely one of the best I’ve ever seen. It is a “See for yourself” movie.
