As I drove home, a wave of nausea hit me." It was then that she understood she was the one in need of a CVS test. After taking five tests, the resounding result confirmed her pregnancy.

Akech, at 24, is younger than the average U.S. first-time mom. Inspired by her own mother, she envisions being a young mom to grow with her kids.
