I've tried to fight the storm gathering in my heart with every ounce of strength I have, but all to no avail.
Why have the young fallen in the very season of their strength?
Why them?
Why must those whose eyes should be bright with dreams go so early into their graves?
Why does pain find them so soon?
Why, why, why?
July came with many "whys" but no answers.
So here is a question that has been searching my own heart, and perhaps it should search yours too:
Five young hearts were snatched away in their prime, all within the space of one month. Two of those losses struck especially close to my heart. I never met them in person, yet through their online presence as writers, I felt as though I knew them.
Dear young soul, this is not a post to frighten you but to remind you of a truth we often forget: life is fragile.
We speak of tomorrow as though it were certain, yet none of us knows what the next hour holds. Dreams are beautiful, but they are delicate. Plans are good, but they are never guaranteed.
The truth is simple: when this life ends, each of us will spend eternity in one of two placesโheaven, in the presence of God, or hell, separated from Him forever.
That is why the most important decision you will ever make is to surrender your life to Jesus Christ. He alone can save you from your sins, clothe you in His righteousness, and give you the gift of eternal life.
Now is the time to seek Him.

Don't wait until tomorrow to respond to His call.
Tomorrow is a gift, not a guarantee.
