Adobe XD Or Figma. Which Is Better? - 7 months ago

Throughout my years as a UI/UX designer, I've always used Figma as my design tool. Not because Adobe XD is rubbish or nonsense, but because Figma resonated with me, as it was easy to navigate through. I have used the two, obviously.

I have asked my friends in the designing field, and a good number of them chose XD over Figma. Ahh, abi na me dey different? I went further to ask designers that I didn't know, and well, XD is really ruling in this part of the world. I was shocked, so I decided to give Adobe XD a chance. Lo and behold, I hated it more. I mean, what do you mean I must have an Adobe Creative Cloud account in order to access the app. Not like after creating the account, I'll not need to pay for premium on the app. Rubbish! I was so annoyed. Imagine how much data was burnt just to get the app alone, only for me to download something else that I don't need in designing.

After all the rants, I calmed down and thought about it. I can't really judge between the two because I didn't really use Adobe. I just saw the Adobe Creative Cloud account sign up page pop up, and ran out. So, it's safe to say people have their own preferences on things. But, as for me? Figma all day long!!
