The young feels they could live forever, so they procrastinated.
The aged know their days are numbered, but then they are already too weak and too late to untie the knots of their procrastination.
Ordinarily, death cripples! Because death represents the ultimate unknown, and with the unknown we tremble. But in the contextual of death it brings urgency...the urgency to live life fully and properly. Without it we will be in perpetuate lethargy! (extreme apathy).
