“Hey” one could hear Arin’s Voice as he shouted at the little boys who blocked the path of his sheep herds. The sun Stroke badly as sweat tingles formed furiously at his forehead. “He was trained for this”; the feeling of satisfaction welled up in him as he smiled at this thought. After all, Recruitment into the very envied Elyrian Cadets was very near and Arin knew he’d earn a coveted spot among the elite ranks of the Elyrian military. “Meehhhh” the loud bleat of one of his sheep’s alarmed him, distracting him from his daydream. The boys hadn’t gone. With one of his sheep’s in their custody, they seemed to be enjoying tutoring the little creature even as it bleated incessantly. Fresh waves of anger pulsed through Arin’s veins as he screamed at the top of his voice “Drop that Sheep Now!”

The atmosphere shifted; the clouds darkened, and the air grew dusty as all nature elements seemed to obey his voice. In response to this strange energy which seemed to propel through Arin’s Voice, His flock of 54 sheep, grazing nearby, eerily aligned in a single file. Their usually gentle eyes now seemed to burn with an angry intensity, reflecting Arin’s emotions. The sheep’s woolly coats appeared to bristle with agitation; their usually calm baa’s replaced with angry bleats.

The boys’ faces turned pale as they faced the moment with extreme shock. “What are you?” One of the boys shouted; they’ve never seen any of such kinds.

Harry’s eyes widened in shock, his mind racing ‘What’s happening?’ he thought. He felt an otherworldly energy coursing through him, connecting him to the sheep and the natural world.

The air grew thick with tension and the atmosphere darkened. The Sheep’s Synchronised movement, their angry eyes and the bristling coats sent the boys running as their shaking hands dropped their torturing instruments and with one shout of “Run” from one which had a brusky look, they hastily took to their heels and paced with all might into the woods.

Arin’s expression returned back to normal, his eyes softened, his emotions softened but the experience had left him shaken. He had never witnessed anything like it before – the eerie alignment of his sheep’s Reaction with his emotions, their angry eyes, the dark energy that seemed to fuel the atmosphere, their movement. It was as if he had tapped into a hidden resource and burst some sought of power open; a sorcery he never knew existed. Truly, he felt different – The boldness that engulfed his limbs made him feels like he could leap over the wall.

The resemblance to the legendary abilities of the Royal Sorcerers of the Elyrial Palace was eerie. Many thoughts swirled through his mind: But he wasn’t from Royal blood, nor was he trained in the arcane art. His family was humble, with 7 brothers and a wretched father at home who survived with his carpentry skills and the menial jobs done by him and his brothers. Yeah although they all practiced with each going day to be accepted into the Countries’ military cadets, there was no way they could have been from the royal blood. Or was there something to it? Did they possess similar abilities? Was that why he wasn’t allowed to train with them? Why was he always treated as the cast out in the house? Does it have anything to do with this?

All this questions swirled in his mind: what had just happened? Was he a sorcerer? This was only the work of a sorcerer, wizard or something: If he really was a sorcerer, How?

One thing was certain:  Arin’s life was about to take a dramatic turn and he knew many questions needed answers. Who does he meet for answer? ‘That’s another topic for discussion’, he thought.

Despite the many questions which swirled in his mind one thing was certain for sure: This was just the beginning and Arin could feel the watchful eyes of the Universe focused intently on him. Only time would reveal what lay in store
