Although I have had limited opportunities to travel or live in new environments, I can confidently say that this town is one of the most peaceful places in the country.
The indigenes live in unity and harmony. They respect one another, relate warmly, and even strangers are welcomed with kindness.
It is a community where people farm their own food. There is no steady electricity supply, yet the town glows with a life and warmth that rivals a Lagos night.
The journey there takes about six hours—longer than many trips between major cities—but what awaits is worth every mile. The town is guided by a monarch, and there is a deep sense of order, respect, and coordination that sets it apart.
Sadly, due to the current state of the country, the town has not been entirely spared from insecurity. Even so, the people continue to uphold strong internal security and look out for one another.
I hope they regain their full peace and continue to live as one, just as they always have.
