Bribery and corruption remains persistent and damaging across the globe, affecting economic and political stability.These illegal practices manifest in a wide range of the world from government policies to private sectors which their consequences are felt by individuals, elites, businesses and the entire nation.

BRIBERY 

It is the act of offering, receiving, soliticing something of value (usually money) to influence the attitude or behavior of someone in the position of authority.

CORRUPTION 

It can be defined as the misuse of power to violate rules or sabotage a plan for personal gain which can also include embezzlement, money laundering and so on.

Bribery and corruption are always done secretly because it's inappropriate.

Efforts to curb the act has been to no avail because it's practiced everyday by day amongst people of higher positions and sometimes elites which has made it very difficult to combat or eliminate.
