His phone slipped from his grasp, hurtling toward the ground. In a flash, he caught it with his foot, kicking it upwards before snatching it out of the air. "Kind of an overkill, don't you think?" a nearby kid remarked.

The young man smirked “this is nothing”. Without another word, he hurled the phone skyward, it disappeared from view. Then, he darted into the busy street, only to be hit by a speeding truck that sent him flying through the air like a ragdoll. 

Mid air, he grabbed hold of dangling electrical cables, swinging himself upwards and balancing precariously atop them. From this lofty perch, he lit a cigar, puffing out billowing smoke as he watched his phone continue its descent. With a dancer's grace, he stepped onto the falling device, balancing perfectly on its tip.

"This is what I call an overkill," he declared, snatching the phone out of the air and landing softly on his toes.

The kid stared in awe, realizing he had drastically underestimated this daredevil's audacious stunts. Who was this young man, and what drove him to such reckless displays of showmanship?
