Is that not Iya Bummi's voice i asked myself without paying much attention to what i  was washing i placed my ears keenly paying attention to where the sound is coming from Ah!  it's Iya Bummi i sprang up rinsing my soapy hands and  ran towards Iya Bummi's flat. Iya Bummi! Iya Bummi!  i kept calling out at the threshold of Iya Bummi's flat getting inside Bummi was lying on the floor unconscious with white foams gushing out of her mouth right there on the floor with her is a scared crying mother shaking and calling out her unconscious child hoping for her to respond and right there on the floor is an empty can of a substance with"SNIPER" boldly written on it Ah! Bummi has attempted suicide jesus! i shouted and hurriedly i ran out with speed towards Papa Chinedu's flat Papa Chinedu!   i kept shouting as i approached the threshold of Papa Chinedu's flat oginee! onye ne ku!  who is shouting out my name like that!? he shouted out Bummi is dieing i replied panting heavily dieing kwanu! where!? he responded and hurriedly he picked his car keys with a shirt on his shoulder we ran towards Iya Bummi's flat. Getting inside the room Iya Bummi was still shouting out for help crying out oluwa e shanu mi!
Papa Chinedu seeing Bummi's state  on the floor he hurriedly  carried Bummi to his car neighbours already pulled up crowd outside shouting hei! others in pair having side talks i held Iya Bummi and led her to the car. Papa Chinedu drove with speed like an actor in fast and furious i picked up iya Bummi's phone and dailed Baba Bummi's number ton ton! the phone rang Hello! Dear i'm in a meeting i'll call you back!  was the voice from the other end this is about your only child  meet us at maitama!  i replied hurriedly and the phone went dead.
We arrived at the hospital and Bummi was rushed in Doctor please save my only child was the voice of Iya  Bummi who is on the verge of loosing her only fruit of the womb after 12years of waiting   i'll do my best was the reply of the doctor who left hurriedly suddenly a man's voice was heard shouting omo mi da!  Awon òtá mi  ti yó mi bayi! Ah! it was Baba Bummi's voice Papa chinedu walked towards him and led him to a chair and patted his shoulder to calm him down while i held the poor crying  mother to my chest and patted her back like a mother pacifying her crying child repeatedly she kept saying oluwa é shanu mi!. Nurses moving up and down, a poor mother muttering words of prayers with uncontrollable tears streaming down her eyes and a poor weak father who sat down faintedly without muttering a word both waiting for whatever that will hit next  it was a whole emotional,anxious  and scary moment. 
Few minutes later the doctor finally came out walking towards us calmly this time who are the girl's parents? the doctor asked we're her parents Iya Bummi and her husband replied in unison  what substance did she take? He asked Doctor is sniper ooo! her mother replied crying How old is she?  He asked again she's 17  her father replied did you observe if she's going through emotional distress or if she has been acting off mentallyl? the doctor asked again Not really
Alright your daughter is fine now you would have been late if you didn't arrive at the time she was brought in  replied the doctor. Ah!  God  i judge you faithful!  Baba Bummi shouted  Oluwa Eshe! though she's still unconscious we'll keep an eye on  her when she's fully awake she'll be referred to a psychiatrist institute for psychological  and mental examination. Please  excuse me the doctor replied and left. We all sighed a sigh of relief Bummi has been revived and we went  in to see her but the reason behind the suicide attempt is still unknown  until Bummi is awake.
