I heard a saying that goes, “your dreams are also looking for you, only a different version of you” and maybe you've heard it, too. According to this saying, dreams aren't just random wishes; they're aligned with a more successful, fulfilled, and self-aware version of oneself. It implies personal growth, learning lessons and turning multiple failed attempts into stepping stones to actualising dreams.
I like to think of it this way: I'm an empty jar with big dreams and aspirations, but the version of me my dreams want is a full-jar version with experience and value worth all the years I spent building myself. Dreams are basically about what we could become if we pursue what we want and put in the work to make it happen. Our potentials motivate us to improve in the things we do and take on new challenges. So yeah, I'm learning that there are certain "dreams" I can't achieve until I become the version of me that not only can accomplish those things, but also deserves them because I put in the time and effort to become a better person.
