SEMESTER - 2 days ago

It had been an incredible semester, yet it had left Mallow stuck in a dilemma. He had often thought about it, but never believed it could happen to him. As a young 200-level student in his early twenties at the University of Norwayou, Mallow was accustomed to a certain level of pride and respect among his colleagues. His impressive academic record, with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.9 in the Engineering department, was well-known. Mallow often attributed his success to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pan, who had always supported him.

Mallow's parents were his heroes, and he never wanted to disappoint them. His father, a successful businessman, and his mother, a talented fashion designer, had instilled in him a strong work ethic. The skies were clearing on that evening, with a cool breeze blowing as the heavy rain gave way to fresh air. Mallow sat at a barbershop in D-street block, listening to Burna Boy's music. A friend, Alpha, passing by, noticed Mallow smiling to himself and decided to say hello.

"Were you waiting for joy to find you, smiling like that all alone?" Alpha asked, smiling ridiculously. "Nothing much, bro, just vibing to Burna's new track," Mallow replied, still smiling. They chatted for a while, exchanging laughter and handshakes. Alpha invited Mallow to a party at Helton Center, scheduled for 7 pm. Mallow was hesitant but eventually decided to attend.

At the party, Mallow met Isaac, a close friend of the host, James. Isaac persuaded Mallow to have a drink with him. Despite initial reservations, Mallow gave in, thinking, "What harm can one glass cause?" As the night wore on, Mallow found himself enjoying the music, dancing, and flirting with the ladies. Thanks to the alcohol, he was rocking every section of the party like a pro.

The next morning, Mallow woke up with a severe headache and a strange feeling. He noticed a female hand wrapped around his abdomen. As he gently lifted the blanket, he saw Kiki, a final-year Law student he had secretly crushed on. With no memory of what had transpired between them, Mallow whispered, "Thank you to the alcohol." He slowly pulled away from Kiki, not wanting to wake her.

After getting dressed, Mallow took a moment to admire Kiki's beauty. She was still asleep, looking perfect. He smiled and tiptoed to the kitchen. Unlike any other Monday morning, Mallow found himself making breakfast. He was excited and optimistic about the semester, despite having morning classes. "I'm certain this is going to be my best semester in Norwayou," Mallow said, looking happy.
