What does it mean to be a first fruit of the family??

It means you having to cry all night and wiping the tears away masking it with a smile 😊. Because as a first child you are not supposed to allow others see you vulnerable, weak, helpless you are supposed to be strong, courageous, confident to face your battles alone without the help of anyone 

It’s means being able to carry the problems and responsibilities of everyone else even tho it’s all hard on you. You are supposed to Cater for your family their needs and at the same time with the aim of making parents very proud.

It’s means always facing your fears alone because everyone thinks you are capable and Suppose to do so and it’s never in your place to cry or seek for help.

It means always hiding your emotions and desires just to fulfill the wishes of your parents even if it’s means sacrificing what you love most 😪

But we seem to forget one thing which is this first child or first fruits are actually human beings with blood 🩸 running through their veins. They are the the ones who need someone who would make them feel free to show them what is truly inside.

That child who had to grow up and get matured because it’s his responsibility not his choice and that scared child who is afraid of not making it or making mama proud 🥲. Who is never allowed to cry out for the tears to be seen by others , a child who is to always be a good example to his younger ones and a child who is to take fault for the mistakes of the younger siblings 😮‍💨

And all of this things are energy draining and exhausting but no one knows because you always see them with a bright smile 😊 to show the world that they are fine 😶 

So a big shout out to all the first born in the house and around the world 🌎 because it’s not easy and it has never been easy 🫂🥰 but you have always had the zeal to continue and push on even tho you are out of strength and draining emotionally, physically, financially and all the “lly” there could ever be 😮‍💨🥲
