We all have dreams and aspirations,a perception of what we want and how we view things should happen.However how many of us think about what it would cost to attain those goals,dreams whatever it is you have outlined for your future.
It’s important we sit down and count the cost to attain long lasting success.We have the way we believe we can impact the world and it’s left for you to take the steps that will lead to that goal.Some relationships have to make way,the way you spend your time,the things you post on social media the words that come out of your mouth.And a whole lot,I had previously written about how it’s important to hide well that was on substack.How ever the principle of monk mode is one I believe will help you to really start counting the cost.Its alarming the rate at which most of us spend on our phones on social media while believing we would change the world.It’s never to late to cut down on distractions and go for what really matters and what would be of greater value to the world,and generations yet to come,we post great men like, Jesus Christ,Marcus Aurelius,Aristotle,Plato,Gandhi,John.G.Lake.Men who made an impact on the world and are still recognized and quoted for their impact.Have you thought of how much it cost these men to be called great to be in the books you buy from the book store,for you to post their sayings,for you to be followers and students even after death,we put yourself in categories of the next great ones yet.We aren’t willing to pay the price for greatness.For trans generational impact.It’s not just about been born but what happens while you walk the earth,you have a purpose,you have an assignment on the earth, you’re awake and alive, reading this because there’s a part of you the world is waiting to see.TURNOFF THE DISTRACTIONS SILENCE THE VOICES AND GET TO WORK.FOR THE WORLD TO HEAR YOU,YOU MUST HAVE SOMETHING WORTH HEARING,YOU MUST BE WORTH LISTENING TO,FOR GENERATIONS TO REMEMBER WHAT YOU STOOD FOR YOU NEED TO FIND WHAT TO STAND FOR.
Finally I do urge you to go hide yourself,learn,pray,cut down on social.defeat the addictions you back,do whatever it is that will make you proud of yourself in the coming years. Just pay the price.
