Police for Rivers State don arrest two suspects over the death of one young woman wey dem identify as Eno Udosen for Port Harcourt.

Eno die on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, after one speeding motor for convoy knock am down near Rivers State University campus for Port Harcourt.

According to reports, the impact of the accident make the young woman fall and hit her head for ground, causing serious injuries wey later lead to her death.

Sources wey know about the incident tell PUNCH say some people wey dey inside the convoy motors run comot from the scene after dem realise say the woman don die.

One eyewitness talk say security personnel wey dey attached to the university and police officers quickly respond after dem receive alert about the incident. Dem block all exit points for the campus immediately.

Later, operatives from Nkpolu Police Division, working together with the university security team, arrest two suspects identified as Onunaka and Daniel. The two men na drivers of a Toyota Camry Spider and a Mercedes-Benz E300 respectively.

The source add say the suspects fit be students of Rivers State University.

As e stand now, police dey hold the two suspects for Nkpolu Police Division for Mile 3 area of Diobu, Port Harcourt, while dem don carry the body of the deceased go mortuary.

The spokesperson of Rivers State Police Command, Blessing Agabe, confirm the incident and the arrest of the suspects. She say investigation still dey continue.

According to her, “Two suspects don dey under arrest in connection with the incident, and dem don recover the woman body and deposit am for mortuary. I fit confirm say the incident happen, and investigation still dey ongoing.”
