So,I was trying to take a selfie of myself on my phone then I realized the acne (pimples) on my face which made me wished it will all disappear for the picture to be perfect, immediately a song crossed through my mind titled “beautiful with scars by Alessia Cara"and i began to mime the lyrics word to word.

A lot of people, especially ladies feel less valued and insecure about their physical appearances,they imagine themselves in an illusion of an image sculpted by the sculptor.We are in an era where BBBL and plastic surgery is a trend for ladies in order to achieve a perfect body shape which in reverse affects the health and the general life of an individual. in one of the stanza of Alessia's song she says “she don't see how perfect she don't understand she is worthy or that beauty goes deeper than the surface” 

We are all beautiful just the way we are,what makes us different,makes us special,beauty  goes beyond the Surface,you just have to open up for the light within you to shine.Alessia also says “so to all the girls that's hiding, let me be your mirror, help you see a little bit clearer the light that shines within”

It doesn't matter if you are black or white, fat or slim, short or tall, with acne or scars you are a rare gem, a masterpiece with a DNA that can't be duplicated.The surface look's has a tendency of fading away but, beauty that lies within the heart stands the test of time living a footprint,legacy and story encrypted in the minds of people to be remembered.

Don't be in the shadows but be in the spotlight for the world to see your uniqueness.
