Yesterday, I learned a vital lesson. This lesson isn't something new but something I haven't been putting my mind to ponder on. Something I bet you haven't experienced also.
Here's the lesson.
I went out early in the morning to get my goods delivered to a customer. Upon getting to the delivery point, my customer wasn't there so I stood waiting at one Aboki Tea Point.
While there, I saw a boy of about 10 years crossing the main road when an orange he was holding fell from his hand.
He managed to cross to the other side in safety. And then turned around to go get his orange which was on the main road...
Follow me.
Apparently, a few drivers were held up due to the moving vehicles from the other end seeing what happened and so when it was time for them to move, they ensured that they didn't match the orange with their car tires.
At first, the boy was happy and hopeful that he would still be able to pick up his orange.
Unfortunately, a car from nowhere just marched it.
From a distance, I could see the boy's disappointed face and sadness.
He walked away but yet then a lady just called him back and squeezed some naira notes into his hands. Another man followed and another made.
You see, for just one orange, the boy got some naira notes to get orange more than the one that fell just because he showed an act of effort to save the last one thing he got.
Dear Fellow, I know it can be hard to lose something, appointments, contracts, jobs, and the list goes on. But here's the thing what's your attitude at that moment?
What's the effort you're putting in afterward?
These two things will make the whole difference you need to scale through the toughest time.
Remember...attitude is everything and your little efforts will always take you to destinations where success is.
Have I shared this before?
Learn again.
I greet you all...I mean "ekom dooo."
