[Amara now back at home, sits on the couch]

(In her palm is a bottle of poison, her phone is ringing and Alex’s name is displayed on the screen)

Amara:(picks the call, but doesn’t talk) Alex:(worried) Amara please where are you?. Your parents are worried, they have been trying to reach you. What is going on?

Amara:(tired) I can’t go on like this.

Alex: what are you talking about? How was the session? Amara talk to me.

Amara:(Now sobbing) it was all my fault, I Killed him, so why should I be alive.

Alex: Amara where are you? Are you at home? I am coming over, just stay still, Will be there in 5 mins(already in panic)

Amara:(in a monotone voice)you won’t make it in time.I drank it already.

Alex:(panicking) Drank what? What did you drink, Amara talk to me?

Amara: something to end my misery.

Alex:Amara listen to me.I would be right there just hold on am almost there okay, just hold on.

(The phone slips from her hand,)

(Alexis seen some moments later in the hospital with amara, with the doctors trying to revive her)

[SCENE 4]

[Some days later]

(Amara is seen on a hospital bed with Alex sitting on a chair beside the bed) Amara:(slowly opens her eyes and voice hoarse) what happened? Why am I here?

Alex:(feeling relieved and angry) what were you thinking?! You could have died.

Amara: you should have let me.

Alex:Never.It's time you knew.Dave was going to die sooner or later.

Amara: what do you mean by that?

Alex:Dave didn't want you to know she made me promise not to tell you,but he's gone now. (Sighs)Dave had a stage three brain tumor and had only some months left. He didn't want you to worry.

Amara:(speechless)what?.

Alex: I am sorry, I should have told you sooner.(Alex patting amara as she cries)

[SCENE 5]

 [Some months later,Amara is seen in her room, her face looking lively and stress-free,receiving a call from Alex]

Alex: when is your flight?

Amara:The next two hours,this will be the first vacation I will be going on since Dave

Alex:You are going to be fine, call me again before you board and after you arrive, you’ve earned this vacation so enjoy yourself.

Amara: I will, and Alex thank you for everything.You are a lifesaver.

Alex:(laughs) I have heard this so many times now,its nothing.Okay, it’s time for my meeting. Don't forget to call me before you board.

Amara:(smiles)I won't.Bye Alex.

Alex: Talk to you later,Bye.
