Take me to the Moon, and let me play amongst the stars…

“¡Vámonos! Let’s go!” just like Dora always says whenever she wants to explore something new.

The explorers, scientists tired of staring through microscopes and telescopes wanted to see things up close and personal, to experience the Moon and stars in a way no screen or lens could fully capture.

NASA’s Artemis II mission is about to make that dream a little closer to reality. Four astronauts are gearing up to loop around the Moon, zooming farther from Earth than humans have in more than 50 years. It’s not a landing yet, think of it as a cosmic test drive but it’s one giant step toward putting humans back on the lunar surface.

And it’s not just about sightseeing. These astronauts are bringing science along for the ride. Instruments onboard will gather data about the Moon, space, and how humans can survive longer in deep space. Imagine taking your backpack full of experiments while riding a space rollercoaster, that’s Artemis II.

So there are a lot of Dora the Explorers out there, mapping the unknown, collecting data, and making sure we know what’s out there before the rest of us can safely follow.

Why does it matter? Because this mission is paving the way for Artemis III, the first Moon landing in the Artemis program, and deeper space adventures after that, Mars, anyone? It’s like prepping for the ultimate road trip, but the roads are craters, and the views are endless stars.

Even though we’re watching from Earth, the astronauts are dancing among the stars, collecting cosmic souvenirs, and showing us that space exploration isn’t just for scientists, it’s for anyone willing to dream big, imagine bigger, and reach further than ever before.

I see the Moon, the Moon sees them…

God bless the Moon, and God bless me. Shalom. ✨🌙
