NOT MEANT TO BE - 10 months ago

Two souls, a storm and a steady sea,
One wild as lightning, the other calm as can be.
The sun and the moon, they rise at different times,
Their rhythms clash, their hearts out of line.

One burns like fire, fierce and untamed,
The other like ice, distant, unclaimed.
A mountain towering, unyielding, tall,
The other a desert, barren, and small.

One moves with the wind, wild and free,
The other roots down, as deep as a tree.
One's voice is thunder, a roar in the sky,
The other's a whisper, a soft lullaby.

If they tried to meet, to dance in the night,
Their worlds would shatter, consumed by the fight.
A collision of chaos, a clash of two worlds—
An earthquake of silence, as destiny unfurls.

Their love, an illusion, a moment to flee,
For opposites, when joined, create misery.
Like oil and water, they cannot be one,
The storm rages on, but the sea stays undone.
