I asked her again, "What's your name?"
She smiled and said, "I’m the anthem sung when triumph is achieved... the celebration of persistence over obstacles."
I tilted my head, intrigued, and asked, "What's your name?"
She laughed softly and said, "I'm the opposite of surrender, the proof that perseverance always prevails."
I leaned closer and whispered, "Still, what's your name?"
She leaned in too and said with confidence, "In military code, I’m Whiskey India November November Echo Romeo. Decode me if you dare."
I chuckled and said, "Girl, just break it down for me."
She stood tall, her presence commanding, and said with a sparkle in her eye:
"I’m Winner.
I am the essence of determination, the reward of grit, the proof that hard work pays off. Where others see an end, I see a new beginning. Where others stumble, I rise. I am the banner flown by those who refuse to quit, the identity of those who dare to dream and fight for it."
And so shall she remain, a Winner in every sense, a testament to what it means to rise, conquer, and thrive.❤️
