Charity had always been a dreamer, envisioning a life filled with love and family. When she met Anthony, it felt like fate. Holding the letter, she cried out to God, lamenting her decision to marry David despite the risks. "Oh God, have mercy on me," she wept. "Please, keep my daughter alive. Don't let my mistakes harm her."

Purity, wise beyond her years, gently wrapped her arms around her mother. "Mom, don't cry," she whispered. "You've always taught me that love and faith can overcome anything.
