A Nation Held Hostage - Why Nigeria Still Bleeds From Insecurity - 1wk ago

Nigeria lives under a shadow of fear. Kidnappings, banditry, and killings are now routine from villages to cities. Families pray silently, students risk school, and citizens navigate danger daily. Yet those in power remain insulated, living in secure homes and sending children abroad. When leaders are untouched by insecurity, urgency fades and action becomes political rhetoric. Victims become statistics; grief is reduced to numbers. True change requires leadership that feels the citizens’ pain, values every life and acts decisively. Until then, Nigerians endure, pray and hope for protection and justice.
