The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is making headlines with a fierce warning to all Corps members about their social media behavior! In a dramatic announcement, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, the Director General of NYSC, stood before the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Corps members at the NYSC Delta State Orientation Camp in Issele-Uku to deliver this critical message.

According to a post from the NYSC's official X handle, the General stressed that any negative online activities could result in harsh disciplinary actions. “Think before you post!” he admonished, urging these young individuals to mind their online presence and elevate the NYSC's and Nigeria's image. They must not tarnish the reputation of the organization with careless comments or reckless shares!

In his no-nonsense approach, he insisted, “Follow simple instructions, be obedient, go for your biometrics, and participate in your Community Development Service.” He also reminded them to respect the cultural values of their host communities and to avoid any misrepresentation of the NYSC during their assignments. The General’s words were crystal clear: there’s no room for error!

Meanwhile, NYSC Delta State Coordinator, Mr. John Kwaghe, reported that a staggering 2,101 Corps members,944 males and 1,157 females,are currently deployed in the state. He praised the situation, claiming that camp activities are running like a well-oiled machine, with Corps members demonstrating a commendable level of discipline.
