“Are you upset?” he asked me the moment we got to his room.
“Theo, you are giving him the wrong impression, I don’t like it.” I told him rubbing my temples in frustration, while he stood afar.
“I just wanted to be sure that nothing is going on between you two,” he pouted and I found it silly.
“You didn’t have to do it in front of him,” I scolded.
“I don’t know why I did it either.” He confessed and I felt silly, “I was a bit jealous.”
“That’s not the whole truth,” I demanded, with my hands akimbo, and he smiled briefly before looking into my eyes.
“I don’t know if I will be able to meet all the terms and the conditions of keeping the inheritance, Summer.” He revealed and I felt worse, I walked up to him and held his hands as he continued.
“We came here together, but now I am afraid that when I am leaving I will leave without you.” He added and I embraced him warmly.
“That’s not going to happen Theo, it’s either we stay here together or we walk out of here together. With our heads up high.” I assured him in a gentle whisper. He refrained from the embrace and looked at me.
“Together…” he said.
“Together.” I confirmed and he embraced me again, warmly.
