YOU AND ME - 2 years ago

In the heart of the bustling city street,
Where strangers pass but seldom greet,
A tapestry of lives unfolds,
Each thread a story yet untold.

A mother’s hand in her child’s grip tight,
A worker's gaze in the dawn’s first light,
An elder’s steps, slow and frail,
A youth's dreams set to sail.

They cross and weave, unseen, unheard,
Yet every soul, a precious word,
In the story of this common ground,
Where every heartbeat’s worth is found.

Look beyond the rush and haste,
See the beauty, not to waste,
In the eyes that speak of joy and pain,
In the lives that ebb and flow like rain.

For in the crowd, each one a star,
Guiding us from near and far,
In the grand mosaic of human ties,
Where people matter, and love defies.

So let us cherish every face,
And honor each with warm embrace,
For in the end, it’s clear to see,
That people matter, you and me.
