From the bustling streets of Lagos, Nigeria, to the vibrant soccer fields of Europe, Chidozie Awaziem's journey has been one of determination and growth. Born with a passion for soccer, Awaziem's talent was evident from a young age, leading him to sign with Portuguese powerhouse FC Porto in 2015.

 It was here that he began his professional career, debuting with the first team in January 2016, and quickly making a name for himself as a formidable defender.In a significant move, FC Cincinnati has announced  that they have acquired Awaziem via transfer from Boavista FC. The Orange and Blue have signed him through 2025, with options for 2026 and 2027. This new chapter in his career comes with excitement and anticipation as he prepares to join the club’s roster, pending receipt of his P-1 visa.Awaziem, now 27, expressed his enthusiasm about joining FC Cincinnati.
