Yesternight, I stood with the stars,
Wondering why the moon left the
World so bleak and dark.
She was once glowing and smiling like a baby
Who got her favorite toy,
Playful and lips stretched till the face beamed.
And suddenly, she turns sour,
And her voice, so melodious with laughter,
Now silently condescending without a care.
Is it how easy interests are lost in the bank?
I thought the sea shell would always be on the shore
For us to see.
But you stood alone and left,
Running back to your hole.
Is this how feelings are lost,
With the spark of fire blown away by the wind?
I thought forever was reality
Until I realized I was living in a dream.
